Refund Policy

Effective Date: 22 March 2026

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on BananaBond, including one-time deck purchases and LearnerPlus subscriptions.

4.1 Digital Goods — No Refund Policy

All purchases on BananaBond are for digital content delivered immediately upon payment. In accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content that has been delivered and performance has begun with your prior express consent.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are purchasing digital content that is made available immediately
  • You expressly consent to immediate delivery of digital content
  • You acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal upon commencement of delivery

As a result, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued for completed purchases.

4.2 Subscriptions

LearnerPlus subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • No further charges will be made
  • Access continues until the end of the current billing period
  • No partial or pro-rata refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period

4.3 Exceptional Circumstances

We may issue refunds at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • A verified technical error on our part that prevented access to purchased content
  • Duplicate charges resulting from a payment processing error

Requests for exceptional refunds must be submitted within 14 days of purchase to the contact email below, with a description of the issue.

4.4 Stripe Disputes

Payments are processed by Stripe. If you raise a chargeback or dispute with your card issuer without first contacting us, we reserve the right to contest the dispute in accordance with Stripe's policies.

4.5 Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your statutory rights under Maltese consumer protection law or EU law where applicable, including rights in respect of goods or services that are faulty or not as described.
